November 12: Volunteer Nature Christmas Ornament
Workshop
Nixon Park, 9:30 a.m.–12 noon
Led by Parks volunteer Sandy Fetrow, volunteers are invited to attend this
workshop to build “natural” ornaments for the Nature Center and Christmas
Magic holiday decorations. All ornaments will be constructed of natural
items, so put on your thinking cap, be creative and design some “cool”

Here’s a great chance to view the heavens through telescopes and binoculars.
Also learn how to use your new telescope or get hints on what to purchase.

Seneca Indian Jerry Dietz will arrive in authentic dress to delight you with
his age-old animal tales. These traditional tales are told only after the
leaves fall from the trees, and have a meaning for all ages. This program is
