About Us

York County Crime Stoppers  is a community program, operated by citizens, which involves the public, the media, and area Law Enforcement Agencies united in the fight against crime.

Crime Stoppers is based on the principle that someone, other than the criminal, has information that is valuable in the resolution of a crime.

Crime Stoppers also realizes that many citizens are fearful about "Getting Involved" but also feel an obligation to provide information on crimes.  Crime Stoppers helps alleviate these concerns by offering total and complete anonymity.  Callers never have to give their names, even to collect a reward!!  Callers can contact Crime Stoppers and feel confident that their identity will not be known and also can feel a sense of satisfaction in knowing that they assisted with resolving a crime!

REWARDS!!! Up to $1,000.00!! Crime Stoppers offers rewards of up to $1,000.00 for information that leads to the resolution of a crime!   Callers do not have to give their names at any time, even to collect the reward!  Callers are never required to provide their names in order to collect a reward.  Anyone with information on any crime is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 755-TIPS or toll free at 1-800-722-0991.  Email.
