Crime of the Week: Arson
Information:
York County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that
will help solve this crime.
On December 21, 2006, a series of fires suspicious in
nature were discovered both on the inside and outside of a large warehouse,
which is located at 3001 West Market Street in York, PA.
This warehouse is a large building, which stores thousands of tires.
The warehouse is shared between Americana Tire and Wheel and Hanover
Terminal Inc. Both Businesses
suffered thousands of dollars in property damage as a result of this fire.
There were several small fires that were discovered earlier that same day along the outside of the building. Employees extinguished those fires. At the time of the fire the businesses inside were open and there were employees inside the building. They discovered the fire between four and five o’clock P.M.
